SENIOR OPERATION/ SETTLEMENT OFFICER

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and participate in daily back office activities including but not limited to Local and global securities/futures/Stock Options/Fund/bond settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement and SBL etc.
  • Liaise with front office, Finance Department, banks, brokers and external authorities to follow up any settlement related issues
  • Responsible for handling of external brokers account opening, document control and updating client’s records
  • Ensure the operational procedures are in compliance with relevant regulatory and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Responsible for conducting annual review of AML checking
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize risk exposure
  • Participate in system enhancements, UAT and perform ad hoc assignments / duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a brokerage industry, with at least 5 years at managerial/supervisory level in Settlement and Operations Department
  • Familiar with relevant compliance rules and regulations, CCASS, DCASS and CTM operations
  • Familiar with operation CCASS ,DCASS and Euroclear/Clearstream
  • Mature detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communications/interpersonal skill and problem solving skill
  • Strong leadership and organization skills
  • Proficient in PC applications including Excel, Word, Chinese Word Processing and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered to be Assistant Operation /Settlement Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for collecting and sorting out research reports, announcements, and other market information of listed companies, and analyzing their possible impact on the market;
  • Responsible for tracking related company and industry trends;
  • Responsible for the research and analysis of the stock price operation, change characteristics and trends of the relevant company, and provide investment advice based on the research results;
  • Track important data and matters of the macro economy, industry and company, and establish an industry analysis database;
  • Provide decision-making support for related investments.
Requirements:
  • Degree or above in finance, economics, financial management or other related majors
  • 10 years or above relevant experience, preferably in fund business, inter-bank bond trading, outstanding inter-bank researchers and analysts
  • Familiar with securities trading knowledge, Stock Exchange, Interbank Trading Center, Financial Exchange and other trading rules and business models
  • Strong sense of risk management
  • Good psychological quality and emergency response ability
